Immigration Program
Candidates must first submit an expression of interest through the Arrima pool. Profiles are scored based on factors such as age, education, language skills, and work experience. The top-scoring candidates may be invited to apply for permanent selection in periodic draws conducted by the Government of Quebec.
Invited candidates will then use the Mon Projet Quebec portal to complete and submit their application for permanent selection. This portal allows candidates to fill out their application, make online payments, track their application status, make changes, and access a personal email throughout the process.
Successful candidates under the QSWP receive a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) and can then apply to the Government of Canada for permanent residence.
The QSWP operates in two stages. First, applicants must obtain the “Certificate of Selection” (Certificat de sélection du Québec) from Quebec. After being selected, applicants must then make a separate application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for Permanent Residence (PR).
