What is the Federal Skilled Worker Program ?

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program offers foreign professionals with experience in NOC 0, A, or B positions the opportunity to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents. Whether their work experience was gained inside or outside Canada, eligible candidates can apply if they meet specific criteria.

This program operates on a points-based system, where applicants are evaluated on factors such as age, education, work experience, job offers, language proficiency, and adaptability. To qualify, candidates must score at least 67 out of 100 points.

Once the point threshold is met, applicants can submit their profile for consideration through Express Entry, potentially receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
