Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
- Overview: This program is a partnership between the federal government and the Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) to attract skilled workers and international graduates to the region.
- Eligibility: The AIP is employer-driven, meaning candidates must have a job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick. Applicants must meet minimum education, language, and work experience requirements, and have a settlement plan in place.
- Process: Designated employers in New Brunswick can hire foreign workers without needing a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Once a candidate receives a job offer, they can apply for permanent residency through this streamlined process.
