- Employment offer required to work
- Language proficiency CLB Score 6 NOC 0 and A CLB 5 for NOC B
- Work Experience same occupation as job offers for one year
- Job given by employer is PR or Canadian citizen.
Northwest Territory Employer Driven
- Full time job offer under job level NOC C or D.
- Critical Impact Worker and Skilled Worker under this category
- 6 months work experience in same field
- Financial fund proof to support family dependents.
- Not a refugee.
- Employer is registered doing business for min.6 months.
Northwest Territory Business Driven
- Show interest to invest in business.
- Investment of CAD $300,000 in Yellowknife area or min. CAD $150,000 CAD outside Yellowknife.
- Personal net worth of CAD $500,000 inside Yellowknife or CAD $250,000 CAD outside Yellowknife.
- Good understanding, experience & education to run the business.
- Knowledge of NWT economy.
- Language proficiency score of 4 CLB.

Critical Impact Worker Requirement
- Full time job offer under job level NOC C or D.
- Language Proficiency CLB Level 4
- 6 months work experience in Northwest Territories at NOC C And D position .
- Minimum 10,000 CAD for principle applicant and 2,000 CAD for each dependent
- Employer will be required to submit a positive LMIA
- Employer is registered doing business for min.1 year
Entrepreneur Business Requirement
- Show interest to invest in business.
- Investment of CAD $300,000 in Yellowknife area or min. CAD $150,000 CAD outside Yellowknife.
- Personal net worth of CAD $500,000 inside Yellowknife or CAD $250,000 CAD outside Yellowknife.
- Good understanding, experience & education to do business.
- Knowledge of NWT economy.
