This stream allows the province to nominate individuals who are already in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s based on education, work experience, language ability and other factors which help them to settle.
To enter in the federal express entry pool, you must be eligible for federal economic immigration program:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Federal Skilled Trade Program
- Canadian Experience Class
Applicant Requirement:
- Show intention to work and live.
- Valid full time job offer.
- Financial fund proof.
In this stream Yukon employer may nominate foreign national and allows foreign skilled workers to get PR based on sponsorship offered by Yukon employer.
Applicant Requirement
- Education & work experience under NOC job level 0, A, or B.
- Valid study/work permits.
- Yukon employers are Canadian PRs who offer job.
- Yukon employers have to provide foreign workers free health insurance.
- Under sponsorship, Yukon employer will pay for foreign worker’s travel cost (incoming/return) from their resident country, but will not pay for family travel
The Critical Impact Worker stream is employer-driven and targets prospective immigrants in National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level C or D occupations. Selects sponsored experienced semi-skilled or unskilled foreign workers.
Applicant Requirement
- education of high school diploma.
- At least 6 months works experience of related work position which is to be filled.
- Valid study/work permit.
- Basic language skill in English or French by providing result from a language test administered by a testing agency.
- PR employers having registered business in Yukon operating for at least 1 year.
- Yukon employers have to provide foreign workers free health insurance.
- Under sponsorship, Yukon employer will pay for foreign worker’s travel cost (incoming/return) from their resident country, but will not pay for family travel.
Target those individuals who have business skills and operate business in Yukon and make a significant contribution to community. People who have entrepreneurial skills can participate in Yukon’s business community. Applicants must hold an active managerial role in the Yukon business.
If applicant is approved by business then he or she becomes a nominee and will receive support for a Two Year Work Permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). And established his/her business in Yukon.
Applicant Requirement
- Minimum score of 65 points in nominee assessment.
- Level 6 score in IELTS and Level 4 score in TEF.
- At least 3 years of entrepreneurial or business management experience.
- At least 5 years experience related to proposed business venture.
- Minimum net worth of CAD $500,000 which is verified by Yukon accounting firm.
- At least $300,000 CAD in liquid assets which is verified by Yukon accounting firm.
- Intend to settle permanently in Yukon and actively operate a business in the territory.
- Provide proof that claimed net worth and liquid assets.
